Guest Speakers
Each week at our Club Meetings, we have guest speakers visit our Club and talk to us about their business, their lives, and other topics important to us as a club, as a community and as servants to the blind and disabled. Some of the upcoming guest speakers are listed below:
- Feb. 6 Bobby Powell Director of Operations for the Wyndam Tournament will let us know about this year’s tournament.
- Feb. 13 John Maginis Former PGA Golfer and current XM Radio announcer.
- Feb. 20 We will have a Club meeting – No guests on this date please.
- Feb. 27 Zack Matheny Greensboro City Councilman.
Club Events
The Greensboro Host Lions Club has a number of events throughout the year, including an annual Walk/Run, a White Cane Drive, a Christmas Party, and various raffles and fund raisers.
! Our next event will be a fundraiser (Candy Day) at Sam’s Club April 6 & 7.
