Making tracks for vision & hearing

About the Run

Imagine a world of darkness or silence, in which your precious gift of sight or sound was stolen from you. For millions of Americans, this is a somber reality.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Every 7 minutes, someone in the U.S. will become blind or visually-impaired?
  • About 175,000 people in NC are blind or visually impaired?
  • About 28 million Americans have hearing loss; only 1 out of 5 use a hearing aid?

What YOU can do to help!

Join us for the 2008 Walk/Run for the Vision & Hearing! After registering, we will give you what you need to raise money for projects that will help support those less fortunate in our community.

Every gift of $100 can help give:

  • Free eyeglasses, or
  • Free hearing aid, or
  • Free eye or ear exam

Many thanks to our generous sponsors!
